Thank you, Lord, for hospitals
For doctors and nurses, too
For modern drugs and medicines
And the wonders they can do.

Thank you for the friends we have
Who are glad to help in any way
And you know your name will be mentioned
Whenever they kneel to pray.

But most of all, Dear Jesus,
To You we give the praise
For watching over our little girl
Through weary nights and endless days.

So precious then it is to know
Our love for her You share
Oh, how it puts our hearts at ease
Just knowing that she's in Your care.

And when her life's been spared, dear Lord
And she is well enough to play
May we continue to give thanks
For watching over her day by day.
