The Sutherland's home is quiet at last
And all is contentment and peace.
No arguing, sass or back-talk
The kids are doing as they please!

Bill's garbage is piled by the sink
The girls' dishes remain undone.
The little ones slide by their bed-time
The homework has not yet begun!

It's kind of like a vacation
What's done is done by choice.
But things will get squared away again
When mom regains her voice!
